Ghost Walk 2023
One thing that makes Kingman unique are the ghost walks. the happen every year a couple weeks before Halloween. King has plenty of cool ghost sgtories. It seems most of the downtown stores have their own unique ghost stories. The most unique is the guy whose head 0opped off when he was being hanged for the murder of his girlfriend. He is seen dragging his head around, mostly haunting Lee Williams High School as he was buried there before the high school was built. Our tour guides. Here telling the story of the ghost haunting Beale Theater Emma is portraying Madame Jack Black of the rabbit patch (red-light district) and her parrot. The parrot died and was afforded a funeral with headstone and everything. When the school was built and the cemetery relocated, so was the parrot.
