 While Sheri and I were camping at Boulder Beach we drove down to Willow Beach to check it out.  Willow Beach is south of Las Vegas and fourteen miles inside the border on 93.  Of course the other side of the river is Nevada.  We were there in the off season but the campground was still busy.  There were also fishermen along the beach and pier.  There are two view areas from where is afforded a view of the Colorado River/ Lake Mohave.  One is south bound, and just before mile marker 13.  I visited this view area and was very disappointed; not in the view, but in the excessive graffiti that made it impossible to read the informational placards.   The north bound view area is better kept.  it is up a little hill from Highway 93.  From both view areas you can see the snowy peak behind Las Vegas.  This is Charleston Peak where there is a ski resort at Lee's Canyon.
