Easter Weekend: Monticello to Moab
Friday we started with a visit to the Monticello Temple. Te road from Monticello had many interesting rocks. They aren't all in the National Park. There was one which looked like a Star Wars space vehicle; and Wilson arch is very impressive. Wilson Arch In Moab we stayed at the KOA Campground which had heated swimming pool, and other games like horse shoes and corn hole. The cliffs behind the campground are very impressive, and there is a good view of the La Sal mountains. moon We tried a Mexican restaurant in Moab and were very disappointed, Fiesta Mexicana. Very expensive and not very good with poor service. I did have shrimp and mushrooms and must admit the mushrooms for delicious--but nobody else in the party seemed to enjoy it very much.
