Billy Wardle Happenings

 On out Spring Break Sheri and I camped at Boulder Beach and drove to some of the local sites.  This included Temple Bar.  Temple Bar was named by Daniel Bonelli, a Mormon immigrant from Scandinavia.  He thought it looked like the Salt Lake Temple.  We were there in the off season so most everything was closed.  However there was still plenty to see.  There was a nice boat launch and dock.  

 While Sheri and I were camping at Boulder Beach we drove down to Willow Beach to check it out.  Willow Beach is south of Las Vegas and fourteen miles inside the border on 93.  Of course the other side of the river is Nevada.  We were there in the off season but the campground was still busy.  There were also fishermen along the beach and pier.
