Beale Street Theater Ghost Walk Tour B

 Last night I ventured out on tour A, and returned tonight for tour B.  Both tours start in the same location behind the city building.  More details of the history check here .  However after that they take different routes while coming together for the Thriller Dance.  Tonight we walked down Fourth Street, passing several business where ghost stories were told.  We then turned and went down Beale Street to Fifth.  Along Beale a couple more ghost stories were related, one about smashing wine bottles, and the other an accident which took place in the old Miner Newspaper offices.  To this point the stories were all told by our guide who was accompanied by his assistant--father.   However after turning north on fifth street we were met by three ladies of the red light district.  The madam talked about her pet bird Polly who was given a proper burial because he was so well liked.  The "Rabbit Patch" is the name given to the Red Li...

Beale Theater Ghost Walk tour A

This is the sixth annual Ghost Walk by Beale Theater.  This is a very enjoyable presentation and worthy of any ghost story or history buff.   I consider myself both so I was in my element.  This is a review of the performance, but I have written up the stories which you can link to here .  There was a story about two brothers who burnt themselves up at the old jail.  This was complete with eerie lights and banging sounds.   We were introduced to Lewis Kingman.  The story of the Screaming ghost of Slaughter House Canyon was introduced.  This was complete with screams.  I missed some of the next presentation as we were still walking up when he started.  However the cowboy told the story of a murder, and the ghost that comes back once a year to ride off with his friends.   Hi Jolli of Hadji Ali told the story of the red camel ghost.  She indicated this ghost has been seen in Kingman above the "K" on the hills behind...
