Keepers of the Wild with Jeremy's and Caleb's Families

Image
Keepers of the Wild is on Route 66 in Valentine, AZ.  We took the opportunity to visit Keepers of the Wild whiles family was here for Thanksgiving.  Grandpa Scoresby went home early in the morning, but he has been there before.  Miranda and Tony also have been there before; but the others hadn't.  We had a good time.   The tour focused on the big cats because it was feeding time.  The feeders seemed to follow us along on the tour.  Consequently we have some pretty good pictures. emu Quincy strawberry tiger grandbabies tiger and his ball dingo or singing dog tigers lion leopard white tiger wolf

White Cliffs, Metcalf Park: Day Before Thanksgiving

With grand babies arriving before Thanksgiving we visited downtown Kingman.   This included the White Cliffs trail which afforded rock climbing for the older kids.  Then Metcalf Park where they have a new climbing wall, and then Locomotive Park for some play. Amongst the Amish

This summer when we were with Jeremy, he took us to the Amish community, Shipshewana, Indiana.  We drove around, and often followed horse drawn carriages.  We did not do the carriage ride, but we explored the gift shop and bought some Christmas ornaments.  We also visited the restaurant which was very nice.  We also visited the candy shop as that is where they sold pies and caramels and other stuff.  We bought Amish peanut butter which is very different.  We walked around the neighborhood.  There were lots of furniture stores and furniture construction going on.   The restaurant The store
