Billy Wardle Happenings

 We did something different for Thanksgiving.  We went to Miranda's house and let her host Thanksgiving.  Her place was small but we made it work.  Even Mark and family joined use, Juniper and the three boys.  The day after we went to Gentri concert in SLC.

 We went to Omaha for Thanksgiving ho0ing to be qable to meet Charity's new baby.  Riley did not cooperate and was not born until the Monday after Thanksgiving.  We had to go home so Tony could go to school.  Sheri stayed to meet the baby. During the weekend we saw Wicked at the theater, went to a park down by the river; it was very cold, walked through Fontenelle Forest which was also cold but had a neat place for watching the birds, and to the zoo.  At the zoo we mostly went to indoor areas as it again was cold, aquarium, the jungle and gorilla house.  We also went ice skating.  The Saturday after Thanksgiving we visited Hualapai Lodge for lunch, and the county park for a hike.  There were lots of elk at the lodge.

Keepers of the Wild is on Route 66 in Valentine, AZ.  We took the opportunity to visit Keepers of the Wild whiles family was here for Thanksgiving.  Grandpa Scoresby went home early in the morning, but he has been there before.  Miranda and Tony also have been there before; but the others hadn't.  We had a good time.   The tour focused on the big cats because it was feeding time.  The feeders seemed to follow us along on the tour.  Consequently we have some pretty good pictures. emu Quincy strawberry tiger grandbabies tiger and his ball dingo or singing dog tigers lion leopard white tiger wolf

 Just a few pictures.  We were enjoying football and turkey dinner eating.  Annie helped the kids do an art project.  Present for Thanksgiving were Jeremy and boys, Miranda, Tony, Grandpa Scoresby, Caleb and Annie and kids.  I didn't do a very good job with pictures other than as we were serving to eat.  We had turkey, two brands of stuffing, homemade and store bought Stove Top, cranberries, rainbow jell-o, rolls, kale salad, potatoes and gravy and corn--which everybody ate.  Martinelli's for drink along with water.  We had turkey dinner with the trimmings.  There was also buggy riding, and art projects.  Rorie had been feeling poorly when he arrived but was doing better with some medicine.
