Kingman Restaurant Review: La Catrina

Sheri and I went to La Catrina with Liza while she as passing through town.  La Catrina is located on Route 66 south of the I-40.  We all had tacos, I had two shrimp and one carne asada and Sheri and Liza both had two carne asada and one chicken.  The tacos were very good and came with beans and rice.  I really enjoyed the shrimp tacos.  They were excellent.  The taco shell was not doubled and was larger than most street tacos.  However they were really stuffed full and delicious.  The restaurant has the Day of the Dead theme.  This restaurant makes the go to again list.

Their food is good but they add the tip to your bill even if your party is under 8 people. So we won't be going back.

Sabina Atkins Yep, there was only 4 of us and the tip was added to our bill.

Am I the only one that thinks the food is as mediocre as the service and the salsa is flavorless?

I'm having an issue finding a good Mexican restaurant here, we had a lot of them in Washington, family owned and so yummy 😋

Not good. They use canned chicken not fresh chicken like they claim. It's gross...
