Sol Duc is also spelled Sole Duck. The campground was nice, but they didn't seem to give a discount for the senior National Park card as under private management by the resort and hot spring.

The hike to the water fall was fun. The waterfall was very pretty. It is a three-tiered fall. On the way back we heard a very strange sound and concluded it must have been a mountain lion.
In leaving the area we stopped at a salmon run. We actually saw some jump, but never captured them in pictures.
