Military Museum in Dyer, Nevada

 We were running short of gas, so we detoured to Dyer, NV on our way to Mammoth Lakes.  We made it to Dyer and got guess, but unexpectedly found a military museum in the gas station.  This was unexpected, so I took an extra few minutes to explore.  It is funn to find things unexpected.

Red Rock Canyon: Spring Break 2024

 The most impressive thing about Red Rock Canyon is the panoramic red mountains.  We spent a nice at the campground, and then we had to drive to the actual canyon which is a few miles away.  The road through the canyon has paid entrance and there is an attempt to space the the cars so it doesn't get overly crowded.  There is a visitor center.  There is also an area of Indian Writing .
