Bellevue Restaurant Reiew: Golden Corral

Image
Golden Corral is around the corner from our house on Cornhusker.  I actually went with Jeremy and the boys to Golden Corral in Mishawaka, Indiana.  The boys all had steak.  I stuck to chicken and meatloaf. I also had a big salad to top it off.  I especially liked the seafood salad.   I found the food good.  The desert bar is not as good post covid as it was pre covid.  This is because they no longer have the chocolate fountain.  Instead they put chocolate on marshmallow and Rice Krispies treats for you.  I enjoyed the pudding with vanilla wafers.  The boys really enjoyed the ice cream.  One boy had gummy bears without the ice cream under.   So although not the best place to eat, we enjoyed ourselves.

Restaurant Review: Buffalo Wild Wings

Image
We went with Jeremy and the boys to Buffalo Wildwings in Elkhart.  There is a Buffalo Wild Wings on Cornhusker, across from the Walmart in Bellevue, close to our home.  I have never ventured there before, thinking wild wings must mean very hot wings.  They had those, but they also had some that weren't quite so hot.  I was in the mood for a burgers, and ordered the mushroom Swiss burger.  It was probably the best mushroom burger I have ever eaten.  I also had fries and onion rings for an appetizer.  We had many different flavors of wings, from orange wings, honey barbecue, lemon pepper, asian zing. I think everyone was pleased with the wings, but felt the onion rings were the high light.  Asher tried a hotter wing, but it wasn't too hot for him.  We had a good time.

Bellevue Restaurant Review: Chick Fil A

Image
There is nothing to complain about in terms of the quality of food at Chick Fil A.  Their chicken is delicious.  I had the chicken sandwich and Tony the nuggets.  Their waffle fries are unique and also very good.  I also had macaronis and cheese which was also good.  We both had shakes.  The strawberry didn't have much strawberry flavor.  But Tony really enjoyed his cookies and cream.  They could use more shake flavors beyond the Strawberry, chocolate and vanilla and one specialty flavor.  And then there is the cost.  $28 seemed a bit steep to feed the two of us.  In Bellevue Chick Fil A is located on Cornhusker and 21st. Chik Fil A is a Christian sponsored restaurant.  They are closed on Sunday.
