Project Movement Dance Concert Was Incredible
A couple weeks ago I attended the Project Movement Dance Concert to see some of the kids I have taught in primary (and other kids from our ward I have not taught. I was not disappointed. I really liked the acrobatic dance as some girls from our ward were tumbling across the stage. They were incredibly talented. In addition the musical Moana broke out on stage that was fun. Even the director Miss Julie took part. Another member of our ward family, Hattie Graff from our ward helped with several of the dances. She is a dance instructor there. One girl we taught in primary is a ballet dancer. The stage was full of our Sunbeams from last year. I like seeing the little ones perform. I get to see them in a different light than church.
They presented a movie of their aerial class at the airport. What a fun sport I don't see myself ever doing but women us fabric to twist themselves up and then untwist. It is something.
So I had a night of jazz dance, acrobatic dance, ballet, musical theater, pom pom dances and a few other kinds of dance. Each type of dance had three different levels of dancers. There were also a few individual and duet dances.
