The Bonelli House tour is great. It tells briefly the story of the Bonelli family, but more importantly has some great items from the past, 1915 to about 1970.
There is a new stop light on route 93 at Last Stop. The light is now active. There is a warning light before the actual light. Is this an indication that the state has given up on the idea of an 11 corridor? There is also a new Carls Jr. just a bit south with a new road coming off the highway.
Last night I ventured out on tour A, and returned tonight for tour B. Both tours start in the same location behind the city building. More details of the history check here . However after that they take different routes while coming together for the Thriller Dance. Tonight we walked down Fourth Street, passing several business where ghost stories were told. We then turned and went down Beale Street to Fifth. Along Beale a couple more ghost stories were related, one about smashing wine bottles, and the other an accident which took place in the old Miner Newspaper offices. To this point the stories were all told by our guide who was accompanied by his assistant--father. However after turning north on fifth street we were met by three ladies of the red light district. The madam talked about her pet bird Polly who was given a proper burial because he was so well liked. I was in Bullhead at the gas station and someone asked me if i had seen the rocket. I had not. Apparently a launch from the Vandenberg Space Port of 53 satellites on a rocket. I didn't see the rocket but the contrails were very interesting. I took picture as the sunset in Bullhead. I called my wife and she took pictures in Kingman. Kingman pictures Bullhead pictures
